Virus Update

Danolyte has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to SARS-CoV-2 on hard porous and/or non-porous surfaces. Therefore, Danolyte can be used against SARS-CoV-2 when used in accordance with the directions for use against Adenovirus Type 1, on hard, porous/non-porous surfaces. Refer to the CDC website at ‪www.cdc.gov/outbreaks‬ or OEI website at ‪https://www.oie‬ for additional information.

Danolyte Disinfectant Applications

Danolyte can be used almost anywhere disinfection is needed, from fracking oil wells to cleaning hospital rooms, from cleaning commercial kitchens to your home kitchen. Danolyte is ideal for disinfecting and deodorizing by killing bacteria and their odors. Its unique properties make it a no rinse solution even for many sensitive applications. With no harsh chemicals, harsh fumes, or chemical residuals, Danolyte provides a new generation of disinfectant.

Healthcare and Hospitality

Danolyte was tested for efficacy using AOAC testing methods for hospital disinfection and OSHAs Bloodborne Pathogen Standards. Danolyte is a one-step disinfectant cleaner designed for general cleaning and disinfecting hard, non-porous environmental surfaces in health care facilities. Healthcare

Danolyte provides general disinfection in Healthcare settings. Danolyte’s is most effectively applied electrostatically, giving more complete and thorough coverage of all surfaces, including underneath objects such as hand and bed rails, tabletops, and other furniture. Many other chemical cleaners contain volatile compounds unsuited for this application method, and those same compounds may damage furniture, adding to the customer’s expense. Danolyte is non-corrosive and is suitable for disinfecting hard, non-porous environmental surfaces.

Hotels, Resorts, Food and Beverage

Danolyte can be used in hotels and restaurants as a sanitizer for food contact surfaces, and to eliminate bacteria that lurk on surfaces where you touch. Danolyte also eliminates biofilm in the water pipes.

Oil and Gas

Danolyte and Catholyte provide the oil and gas industry with increased productivity due to improved extraction performance of the fluids used for drilling. Danolyte is the ideal alternative to replace traditional disinfectants that are corrosive and leave behind harmful residuals that may pollute groundwater. Treating water used in oil extraction with Catholyte lowers its surface tension and thereby increases its extraction capacity. Our generators provide the large-scale production necessary for these water-intensive applications.

Fracking Operations

With the goal of protecting the environment and maximizing the recovery of water used for fracturing oil well deposits, Danolyte® has developed technology that includes the following:

  • Disinfection with Danolyte®
  • Precipitation of suspended solids and metals
  • Desulphurization
  • Clarification
  • Oil/Water separation

These modular systems can be tailored to the facility and the unique needs for water recovery. The use of Danolyte® is the key component in the entire process, eliminating the problems associated with aldehydes and other traditional chemical pollutants. Additionally, Danolyte’s® high oxidative power ensures high levels of disinfection.

Agriculture

Livestock

Danolyte® can be used to disinfect water used in in livestock feeding operations, which in turn reduces mortality rates, enhances feed conversion and improves overall productivity. Danolyte® has also been employed in misters for environmental disinfection in livestock buildings as well as disinfection of milking systems and other equipment that is sensitive to microbial contamination.

Crop Production

The only active ingredient in Danolyte® (hypochlorous acid) has been approved by the USDA for use as an algicide, disinfectant, and sanitizer in organic crop and livestock production, and for use in disinfecting and sanitizing equipment and facilities in organic handling and processing. Danolyte meets the requirement of the FDA and USDA for a non-rinse sanitizing solution.

The Danolyte disinfectant spray is a powerful way to disinfect and sanitize any surface,

while still being gentle enough for use on baby toys.

With 100x the germ-killing power of bleach,

you can feel confident that your home or office has been thoroughly disinfected!

FAQ's

WHAT IS HOCl?

Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl)

is a naturally occurring molecule found in the human body which plays an integral part in immune response (Inside the body). Scientists have replicated this compound by running an electrical charge through a proprietary combination of purified salt and water. HOCl kills dangerous microorganisms as an antimicrobial solution making it equally as effective against bacteria, and viruses.

IS YOUR PRODUCT EFFECTIVE AGAINST SARS-Cov-2 (COVID)?

Danolyte Disinfectant

has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) on hard, nonporous surfaces. Therefore, Danolyte can be used against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) when applied in accordance with the directions. Danolyte is included on the EPA's List N: Disinfectants for use against SARS- CoV 2 (COVID-19)

DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN FRAGRANCES?

Our solution is odorless

while proven to be highly effective at deodorizing air and surfaces. Danolyte does not contain any fragrances although it has a slight chlorine smell upon application which immediately dissipates after dispensing.

HOW DOES HOCl WORK?

Hypochlorous acid

is nature’s oldest disinfectant, being found in every human body while playing an integral part in immune response. HOCl breaks down the cells that are creating an infection by destroying the cell membrane and its DNA, thus preventing its reproduction or growth process.HOCl also known as anolyte water is produced by electrolyzing saltwater in an anode chamber of an electrolyte cell. The solution contains over 99.4% water with the remaining solution being chloride salts and hypochlorous acid

WHAT IS A HOSPITAL LEVEL DISINFECTANT?

Hospital-level disinfectants

are put through a rigorous testing process to prove their efficacy as part of the EPA registration process. EPA registers different types of disinfectants with the highest-level being hospital. Hospital-level must be supported by AOAC Use Dilution or AOAC Germicidal Spray efficacy testing against Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella Cholerasuis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa hides behind biofilm and is difficult to eliminate. Killing this bacterium is required for “Hospital-level Disinfectant”.

What are Danolyte EPA Registration Numbers?
