What is Danolyte Disinfectant?

Danolyte is a ready-to-use, EPA-registered (Reg. No. 91582-1), hospital-grade hypochlorous acid (HOCl) disinfectant spray. Its active ingredient is derived from naturally occurring salt minerals and water. It cleans, deodorizes, sanitizes and disinfects in one step, straight from the bottle, and breaks down into saline solution after it works. It has no fragrance, dyes, alcohol, phenols, phosphates or VOCs.

How do I use Danolyte?

    Spray

    Spray straight from the bottle until the surface is thoroughly wet. Pre-clean heavily soiled areas first.

    Keep it wet

    Leave it wet for 10 minutes to disinfect. Staph, influenza A H1N1, Enterobacter and hepatitis C need just 2 minutes.

    Air dry

    No wiping and no rinsing, except surfaces that touch food or mouths: rinse those with drinking water.

Does Danolyte need to be diluted?

No. Danolyte comes ready to use at full strength, and that's how it disinfects. Diluting is optional, for a few everyday jobs the label lists.

How do I use Danolyte?

Hypochlorous acid naturally breaks down over time. We make Danolyte every weekday and ship it the day it's made, and every container shows its production date. Store it closed, out of direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place.

What surfaces can I use Danolyte on?

Hard, non-porous surfaces such as glass, glazed ceramic tile, glazed porcelain, laminates, Formica, synthetic marble, stainless steel, chrome and vinyl tile. Don't use it on steel, aluminum, silver or chipped enamel, and test first in an inconspicuous spot.
